Technical Program Manager
The Worlds Largest Search Engine is Seeking a Program Manager in Mountainview!
Title: Program Manager 1Contract Length: 10 months (until end of 2025)
Location: Mountainview, CA
Pay Rate: $50.12 - $81.54 per hour
Position Overview:
The Program Manager, Engineering will support hiring processes, onboarding logistics, and organizational initiatives to ensure smooth operations within the engineering team. This role involves headcount management, process coordination, and fostering team culture through events and communication.
Proposed Scope:
Hiring Support:
- Track data related to hiring, including headcount targets, progress, and team allocations.
- Manage headcount processes, including support for job postings and interview follow-ups.
FTE Process Support:
- Oversee headcount management and hiring status.
- Assist with job postings and interview follow-ups.
TVC Process Support:
- Manage SOW renewals and vendor contract extensions/terminations.
- Coordinate onboarding with XWS and Engineering Managers.
- Facilitate access coordination with TPM.
Onboarding Support:
- Track start dates and develop an end-to-end onboarding process.
- Oversee onboarding logistics and technical onboarding.
Organizational Support:
- Plan and track team events, training sessions, and culture-building activities.
- Manage budget tracking for events and initiatives.
- Provide communication support, including status updates, newsletters, and meeting summaries.
- Support biweekly Engineering meetings, including scheduling and note-taking.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of Program Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Prior experience working at Google.
Pay Details: $50.00 to $81.00 per hour
