We are seeking a precise and analytic Accounting Clerk to assist with financial matters in our accounting department. The Accounting Clerk will be primarily responsible for preparing reports, invoicing, handling bookkeeping and fact checking, and managing (accounts payable and receivable) to ensure the company's finances are in order.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filling, etc.
2. Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company standards.
3. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4. Process checks, prepare invoices, and conduct bank reconciliations.
5. Prepare financial reports.
6. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
7. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Associates degree in Accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree may be preferred.
2. Prior experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency using Microsoft Suite and accounting software.
4. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
6. Good understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
