Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a role with a client based in Stow, Ohio, for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in our financial department, handling a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices using accounts payable software
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted
• Conduct check runs to ensure all outstanding invoices are paid in a timely manner
• Use coding techniques for invoice processing to maintain organized financial records
• Handle data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all customer data is up to date and correct
• Use Dealer Track and other relevant software to track and maintain customer accounts
• Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts payable, providing clear and accurate information
• Monitor customer accounts for discrepancies and potential issues, taking appropriate action when necessary
• Assist in other accounting tasks as needed, always maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management
• Experience in coding invoices
• Skilled in data entry tasks
• Expertise in invoice processing
• Familiarity with Dealer Track software
• Retail industry experience is preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
