Project Engineer

Currently looking for a highly motivated Construction Project Engineer to join a large General contractor in the Phoenix area on an upcoming airport project. The Project Engineer"s role will be to support the project management team to ensure a safe and successful construction projectResponsibilities:-Maintain, update and distribute construction documents (RFIs, ASIs, PRs, etc.)-Helps to maintain safe worksites-Review, expedite and track submittals-Attend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutes-Assist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents and invoice approval-Assist in producing and updating project schedules-Assist in resolving design issues-Schedule and document client training for new systems and equipment-Manage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project recordsRequirements:-Bachelor"s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management/ Construction Engineering or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university-Applicable internships and field experience preferred-Candidates must have working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Construction Management SoftwareThe ideal candidate:-Is a self-starter with a natural ability to problem solve-Is able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities as well as make decisions under tight deadlines-Exhibits commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making necessary changes to meet/exceed expectations-Acts in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company and its values, our clients and our industry partners
