Litigation Paralegal - Medical Malpractice

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a full-service, mid-sized law firm located in the loop who is looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal with at least 1-3+ years of experience to join their medical malpractice defense litigation team. This Litigation Paralegal must have experience reviewing medical records, e-filing, and assisting with trial preparation responsibilities.
This position is paying between $50-70K plus bonus and the firm offers a highly flexible hybrid WFH schedule. If you are looking to join a phenomenal team with a great office culture, then this is the opportunity for you!
Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Obtain, organize, review and summarization of medical records
- Assist with trial preparation and support
- Oversee the preparation of records and deposition subpoenas
- Provide support for discovery-related needs
- Abstract and summarize medical records for easier access and reference
- Conduct research, contacting and retaining medical experts as necessary
- Assist with other support and clerical functions as the need arises
- Proactively manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks
- Bachelor Degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- 1-3+ years of paralegal experience preferably in medical malpractice defense
- Experience with reviewing medical records, e-filing, and trial preparation required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
