Accounting Associate

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Bookkeeper in the specialty retail industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience in accounts payable and receivable, who is eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

education: Associate

• Assist the accounts receivable department, including following up on past-due accounts.
• Support the finance department with daily operations, monthly reconciliations, and the year-end closing process.
• Record daily financial transactions such as purchases, receipts, sales, vendor invoices, and payments using SAGE 100 and Epos Now retail software.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers.
• Review financial records for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Compile financial reports as requested.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
• Record cash deposits, checks, and vouchers.
• Maintain and update the department’s filing system, retrieving information as needed.
• Organize and manage files related to customer resale certificates.
• Take on additional projects as directed by the finance manager.
