Branch/Retail Banking Clerk

We are in search of a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the banking industry. As a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk, you will be responsible for handling various banking operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:- Utilize accounting software systems and banking software for transaction processing and record-keeping.
- Handle data processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in managing customer credit applications and update their records accordingly.
- Use LaserPro and Lawon ERP systems for various banking tasks.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Handle inbound calls, addressing customer queries and concerns.
- Process checks and manage collection processes as per banking regulations.
- Assist with consumer loans and credit procedures.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards in all tasks. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems usage is required.
- Familiarity with Banking software is essential.
- Must possess skills in Data Processing.
- Experience with LaserPro software is desired.
- Knowledge of Lawon ERP is a plus.
- Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls.
- Experience in Check Processing is needed.
- Understanding of Collection Processes is required.
- Must have knowledge of Consumer Loans.
- Credit processing skills are essential.
