Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides intensive therapeutic residential and learning programs and services for children and adolescents. Based in Viera, FL, this position is responsible for providing therapy to children and adolescents through assessing clients and formulating individualized, multidisciplinary treatment plans.

Position Details:

Pay Range: Starts at $50,500 / annual (non-licensed).

Starts at $60,000 / annual (licensed).

Salary increases based on relevant education and experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field required
  • Two years' experience working directly with children and families. Preferred experience with children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and are committed and are emotionally disturbed Preferred

Schedule:

  • Must be able to complete a 2 week hire orientation class (Monday - Friday); hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license
  • Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen, Physical, and TB Test
