Irvine - Associate Attorney

Attorneys interested in complex business and commercial litigation have an opportunity to join a boutique law practice in Orange County specializing in the practice area. Cases can range from contract disputes, fraud, soft IP, trade secrets, high-value pension matters, and some large bankruptcies.

This firm works with Fortune 100 companies and high net worth individuals on large, complex litigation matters. The firm is seeking an attorney to join its collegial, tight-knit group. This is a 100% onsite position.

The firm funds business development and networking opportunities.

• This attorney will handle daily litigation tasks such as:
• Discovery.
• Law and motion.
• Depositions.
• Court appearances.
• Document review.
• This attorney must be a strong writer and comfortable working without templates.
• Experience in federal court is preferred.
• Hours: 1800

Compensation:

• Salary range: 2-4 year attorneys up to $160,000 - flexibility for more experience!
• Bonus: discretionary and based on hours billed, paid annually.
• 10% fee split for business development - this is substantial for some attorneys at the firm.
• Benefits are 100% covered.
• Unlimited days off. Most people take several weeks off between one to three times a year.
• 401k with match
• Licensed in CA with a JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• 5 years of experience in civil litigation, ideally with as much complex litigation as possible.
• Commutable to Irvine as this is a fully onsite role.
• STRONG writing; this attorney must be comfortable working on novel, non-templated issues.
