San Antonio - Automotive Title Clerk
Overview:
The Automotive Title Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation, such as New and Used car deals, Dealer Trades, Reconciliation of Schedules, Pay Offs, Posting EFT's, etc. This position will handle primarily Used Car Contracts.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, or certification) and at least two years of experience as a contract clerk. He or she can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities:
- Process New and Used vehicle contracts timely and accurately.
- Manages vehicle documentation, including tax and title information, registrations, etc.
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required
- Process Dealer Trades, Pay off Used Carl Flooring and Electronic Funding Transactions (EFT's).
- Contacts banks to obtain lien releases.
- Verifies the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale.
- Assist in creating and processing leasing and loan paperwork.
- Prepares necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agency.
- Ensures the company's tag and title work meets state requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 + years Automotive Contract Clerk Experience Preferred (ONLY AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE NEED APPLY).
- General Motors/Chevrolet experience a PLUS!
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a face paced environment.
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to process DMV paperwork a PLUS!
- Must possess good organization skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
- Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- TEKION experience a PLUS!!
- Good attendance required.
