Job Description

The position will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for

Achieving proficiency with key manufacturing unit operations through training with operators and engineers.
Managing initiatives under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Troubleshooting plant process issues with technicians and operators.
Developing process documentation and operator training materials.
Helping to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring communication and implementation of management of change procedures.
Supporting new product and process commercialization.
Measuring product quality, process capability, and yield using statistical process control techniques.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

Engineering degree, chemical engineering a plus
3+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Fluid flow and heat transfer knowledge
P&ID or GMP understanding preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
