Responsibilities:
- Counsel clients on various aspects of employment law.
- Conduct thorough legal research related to employment law matters.
- Draft and revise legal documents pertinent to labor and employment issues.
- Review, advise, and update human resources policies, ensuring compliance.
- Represent clients in dispute resolution proceedings and litigation.
- Oversee and manage labor and employment-related projects.
- Leverage your understanding of California labor laws in advising clients.
- Use your expertise in Human Resources administration to inform your legal advice.
- Handle matters related to EEO, ADA, and FMLA accommodations.
- Conduct investigations as necessary, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of California Labor Law
- Proficiency in Employment Law - Employer is required
- Able to conduct thorough legal investigations
- Capable of providing sound legal advice in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration is necessary
- Familiarity with EEOC policies and procedures
- Ability to handle ADA Accommodations in a detail oriented manner
- Must have experience with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
