Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end close activities, including inventory accruals, journal entries, account reconciliation, billing, and financial analysis.
• Provide detailed reporting and analysis of financial data to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate and oversee the year-end physical inventory count.
• Analyze general ledger data for accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain cost allocation methodologies for direct and indirect expenditures.
• Support external audits by preparing work papers, documentation, and calculations.
• Perform analytics to inform strategic business decisions.
• Contribute to other accounting and financial projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with SAP, particularly in a plant setting.
• Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Analyst role or similar.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a necessary skill for this role.
• The candidate should be adept at Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations is expected.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is essential.
• The candidate must be capable of making Journal Entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with the Month End Close process is necessary.
• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus.
• The candidate should be familiar with Oracle.
• Proficiency in SAP is a prerequisite for this role.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA is desirable.
• The candidate should have experience with Accruals.
• Familiarity with Monthly Accruals is a plus.
• Experience with Annual Inventory processes is beneficial.
• Asset Inventory management skills are required.
• Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment is desirable.
