1st shift - Material Handler - Driver/Delivery (temp to perm)

Schedule: 1st shift (8:00am - 4:30pm).

Summary:

to deliveries in the Tri-state area. The Material Handler - Driver/Delivery will be responsible for loading the truck and distributing the goods throughout various departments. Verifying materials received as ordered and routes incoming

warehouse activities including: replenishment, put-away, container loading/unloading, and baling.

Main Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Execute driver pick-up and drop off deliveries to ensure that operations run smoothly.
• Unload/load trucks delivering raw materials and products
• Make runs throughout New England to various vendors
• Make runs in the Tri-State area to support our business operations.
• Maintain storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Monitor condition of picking locations and replenish with additional products
• Assist with dock organization, processing of incoming and outgoingshipments
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Participate in the storage, movement, and replenishment of goods via handheld.
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• User a variety of equipment to effectively move goods (forklift, pallet jack, hampers)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

• 2 years experience working in a FC is necessary
• Must have experience operating powered industrial trucks
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
• Attention to detail is required
• Must be able to read and understand the information provided on packing/pick slips
• General computer experience
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• DOT certification Required/Willingness to receive DOT certification (company paid)
