We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The candidate must have substantial knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures, preferably within the healthcare industry. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for assisting with the management of overall financial operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of financial reports and statements
2. Perform month-end and year-end close
3. Complete tax forms and assist with audits
4. Process accounts payable and receivable
5. Coordinate with different departments within the organization to collect and analyze financial data
6. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
7. Participate in the budget preparation or revision process
8. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field required.
9. Proven experience as Staff Accountant in the healthcare space (minimum 2 years)
10. Excellent understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
11. Familiarity with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
12. Outstanding analytical and time-management skills
13. Strong attention to detail
