Key Duties:
- Will serve as a representative for Genesis pipeline for regulatory audits regarding Alarm Management Practices.
- Responsible for reviewing and responding to Alarm Upsets for Onshore and Offshore assets.
- Responsible for Point to Point testing procedures and documentation of testing for all monitored sites.
- Responsible for rationalizing alarms for new station implementations and for reoccurring rationalizations per the PHMSA rule.
- Communicate with team effectively to identify deficiencies within the alarm process and provide resolutions to any issues.
- Work with personnel to assist in the station implementation process regarding alarming.
- Participates in and promotes the Company’s safety program to coworkers.
- Assist Schedulers with PTO relief (Scheduling pipelines/barges/assets.
- Provide backup to Pipeline Supervisors/Controllers if needed.
- Assist in filing Regulatory paperwork.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor Degree in applicable studies, preferred
- 3 years working knowledge of pipeline operations
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Products
- Must be able to work effectively in a multi-task environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
