Neuro Anesthesia Technologist

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program.
National ASATT certification.
CPR/BLS certification.
Three years of work experience, preferably in neurosurgical anesthesia.
Knowledge of intracranial pressure monitoring and neuro-specific anesthesia needs.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

Prepares and maintains anesthesia equipment for neurosurgical cases.
Assists with patient positioning for head and spine surgeries.
Ensures proper setup for neurophysiologic monitoring.
Maintains and reprocesses neurosurgical anesthesia equipment.
Orders and restocks specialized neuro anesthesia supplies.
