Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for projects with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.You will also showcase your expertise by supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Supporting and coordinating the installation/commissioning activities and related on- site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification.
- Creating work plans and cost estimates to meet contractual obligations.
- Initiating and monitoring risk mitigation plans and ensuring stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks.
- Managing external organizations to ensure the availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services.

Qualifications for the role- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Power generation or Electronics experience is an asset.
- More than 2 years of experience in field services, working as field service engineer with Power Generation and Power Electronics experience is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Power Electronics equipment.
- Knowledge of servicing industrial equipment.
- Strong Software understanding
- Control Systems and PID Control/Calibration understanding
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel within Canada and to the United States of America and must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $61,900 and $115,100 annually.
