Payroll Specialist

We are currently on the lookout for a Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Palo Alto, California. In this role, your primary focus will be to process payroll functions using various accounting software systems. This is a short-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll.
• Manage and maintain ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce systems.
• Oversee 401k and RRSP administration, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle all queries related to payroll and benefits, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in payroll in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll transactions.
• Monitor and review ADP financial services to ensure all transactions are accurate and timely.
• Manage and resolve any issues related to the 'About Time' system. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is necessary.
• Knowledge of Ceridian software is essential.
• Ability to operate Dayforce is expected.
• Must be competent in 401k - RRSP Administration.
• Experience with About Time software is beneficial.
• Must possess an understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Auditing skills are important.
• Capable of handling Benefit Functions.
