Exciting Opportunity: Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Needed in Portland, OR!

We're seeking a dynamic and compassionate psychiatrist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations in Portland, Oregon. Portland is well-known for its art, culture, restaurants, nature, and sites such as Mt. Hood Ski Resort, the Rose, Japanese, and Chinese Gardens, River Front homes, hiking, golfing, fishing, and fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications
  • Collaborate with facility treatment teams
  • Complete statutorily required assessments of criminal competency for the courts
  • Consult with the facility treatment teams to develop treatment plans

Requirements:

  • MD/DO and BE/BC in Psychiatry
  • Graduate of an ACGME-approved Psychiatry Residency
  • Eligible to obtain unrestricted medical license in Oregon
  • Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Psych experience

Details:

  • Full-time or part-time position available
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Patient population: Adults
  • Admissions: 6-10
  • Patients Per Day: 6-11
  • Cases: Anxiety, Depression, SMI, ADHD, ADD, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenic disorder, Schizophrenia and personality disorder patients, Mood Disorders, and some suicidal thoughts, Detox and addiction
  • Malpractice coverage, full benefits, and competitive salary provided
  • 8 hours minimum up to 40 hours a week (Hours/days are flexible for in-person consultations, and paperwork can be completed from home)

Nice to Have:

  • Suboxone experience a plus
  • Evaluations: 60-90 minutes
  • Med check: 30 minutes (45 minutes if patient did therapy on the visit)
  • Support staff: LPC, Primary Care Physicians, PMHNP
  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing expected to be 30 days
  • 2 full-time and open to 4 part-time provider openings (all on-site) you pick your schedule
  • Medical Management
  • 2-5 days per week. Can pick any days/times M-S

Salary Range:

  • $9,708.35 - $12,770.26 Semimonthly
  • $233,000.40 - $306,486.24 Annually
