The AGI team is responsibly advancing Amazon’s generative AI technologies, including the company’s most expansive multimodal foundation models.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment of innovative systems that can collect and process data within a smart and passionate multi-disciplinary team.We are looking for a candidate that will have an established a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with a team of Applied Scientists with expertise in specialized areas such as Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
- Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility, investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.
About the team
The team is focused on agent capabilities to delight consumer and enterprise customers with practical AI solutions.- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
