Sr. Financial Analyst - Robert Half

We are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team located in Westborough, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract opportunity that will involve participation in special project initiatives, in addition to regular financial analysis tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end reporting processes
• Contribute to the production of the monthly closing package
• Support forecast and long-range budgeting processes
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis as required
• Utilize analytical skills to analyze variances
• Aid in the execution of the annual operating plan
• Proven experience in Budget Processes, with a strong understanding of financial planning and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, demonstrating the capacity to deliver concise, insightful financial reports in response to unexpected queries or events.
• Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide recommendations based on these analyses.
• Solid experience in Analyzing Variance, showing the ability to identify, interpret and explain fluctuations in financial data.
• Previous involvement in the creation and execution of an Annual Operating Plan, with a clear understanding of the strategic financial planning process.
