Accounts Payable Clerk

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Atlanta, Georgia. The role is centered around maintaining and processing financial transactions within the public sector, with a focus on accounts payable activities. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity, and will be conducted entirely on site.

• Oversee the full cycle of invoice processing, handling between 400-500 invoices
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Carry out check runs as part of the accounts payable process
• Code invoices correctly and efficiently, ensuring proper financial tracking
• Manage vendor maintenance and setup in the Government issue ERP system
• Investigate and resolve issues related to duplicate payments
• Maintain data entry tasks with high level of accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar is required
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Must have a strong understanding and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in conducting Check Runs is a must
• Must have the ability to efficiently Code Invoices
• Excellent Data Entry skills are required
• Must be proficient in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
