Overview:
Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established Post-Tension company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight facilities in the US.
We are looking for a Professional Engineer or EIT to join our team to:
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the design of multifamily foundations.
- Functioning as a liaison with contractors and engineers on constructability issues, design changes, construction problems and other implementation issues that arise during the construction process.
- Design residential single family home foundations.
- Prepare repair procedures for damaged concrete/post-tensioning.
- Manage field crews for both repair jobs and ongoing project site assistance.
- Oversee inspections of foundations and prepare inspection reports as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Multifamily foundation design and construction knowledge is required. Knowledgeable in building construction and construction sequencing along with knowledge in both ACI and IBC requirements is ideal.Must be eligible to take the FE/PE exams. Must have a strong team-building personality, and proficient in verbal and written communications.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
