POSITION: Business Development Manager

SUMMARY: Specialize in thermal insulation services, scaffolding erection and rental services, siding, and steam and electric tracing systems
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify new sales leads and provide appropriate follow-up
Promote the services and productsResearch organizations to identify new leads and potential new markets, as well as research future planned projects
Research the needs of other companies and identify the decision makers
Contact potential clients to establish rapport and set up meetings
Plan and work with corporate business development team on marketing initiatives
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the companys products
Develop quotes and proposals
Negotiate sales
Work effectively with project managers to develop and present project proposals
Manage the North Carolina branch CRM to verify data is current and enables branch operations to monitor opportunities, proposals, and project awards by clientCRM will be developed and managed by the position to enable the team to monitor the market, its available opportunities and to be able to leverage the data to help the branch make key decisions with supported data
Develop sales goals ensure they are met
Develop and maintain Strategic Business Plan with Branch Manager and execute plan to the fullest working with the NC Team
Train personnel and help team members develop sales and proposals as needed
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, construction management or related area or equivalent.
5+ years of successful sales experience in the Industrial Construction market.Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems.
In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Skill in prioritizing and successfully completing obligations.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Drivers license with a clean driving record.
Travel - primarily by car in the North Carolina region, by air upon client / project needs
