Accounting Clerk

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Costa Mesa, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of our team, working in the property management industry. Your role will primarily involve handling various accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Assist with the execution of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are timely entered into the accounting software.
• Support the end of month and end of year closing processes, which includes account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Manage tenant rent payments, process them accordingly, and maintain accurate tenant account records.
• Address inquiries from property managers, tenants, and vendors regarding financial transactions and account statuses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets as needed.
• Provide support to the accounting team with special projects and other administrative tasks as required. • Proven experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing
• Experience in billing procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness to handle sensitive financial information
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
