Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist
What You'll Do:
- Prepares accounting reports and assists with accounts receivable duties
- Records, reconciles, and balances transactions in accounting systems/software
- Maintains and updates accounts receivable documentation as necessary
- Process and post accounts receivable payments and create and distribute payment receipts
- Monitors and directs or responds to general accounting email inquiries
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information
- Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents
- Process customer credit card payments
- Perform verification of deposits
- Perform weekly/monthly account reconciliations
- Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled for month-end close
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and assist with process improvements
- Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing AR-related journal entries and reports
- Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time, in-office positions in Chantilly, VA.

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar required.
- 5+ years as an Accounting Representative or related experience required.
