Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly financial closing processes for the facility, ensuring compliance with GAAP, including balance sheet and income statement management.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, control, and analytics to drive improvement.
• Conduct cost accounting reviews and monitor production standards and variances.
• Forecast the sales & profitability of the location, product line, and value streams.
• Implement KPI’s, controls, and reporting to assist in identifying and improving problem areas.
• Provide operational support with capital equipment authorization, asset management and inventory control.
• Identify and drive various special projects to improve margins, processes, and competitive positions in the marketplace.
• Oversee the costing processes and perform actionable variance analysis.
• Coordinate and manage the site audits, both internal and 3rd party.
• Manage fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking and safeguarding.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting as requested from internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Annual Budget planning and execution.
• Must have a deep understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and standard cost accounting.
