Entry-Level Defense Litigation Associate

As a Litigation Associate, you will manage a high volume of cases, conduct legal research, prepare for trials, and make court appearances.

This litigation associate opportunity offers remote flexibility after training period.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation defense matters
• Manage and handle caseload from commencement to final resolution
• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.
• Attend court proceedings as needed
• Conduct and manage depositions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals
• Remain current on legal developments relevant to civil litigation defense practice

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California state bar
• 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in legal research and writing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
