Overview:

As a Safety Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in promoting workplace safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your focus will be on preventing accidents, educating employees, and implementing safety protocols. What to Expect:

• Develop and enforce safety policies and protocols.
• Educate supervisors, managers, and leaders about health and safety standards.
• Conduct safety training sessions for employees.
• Assess potential risks and hazards.
• Follow up on safety inspections and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to create safety and security policies.
• Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct effective safety training during new hire onboarding and for current employees.
• Share environmental safety information within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and other regulatory requirements.

What You Will Contribute:

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of company safety policies, applicable OSHA standards, and federal/state safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively present information and conduct training sessions.
