Staff Accountant

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Mission Viejo, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account and bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Performing account and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Preparing comprehensive financial statements for review
- Utilizing accounting software systems for data entry and management
- Maintaining strong communication with team members and stakeholders
- Applying understanding of GAAP principles in daily tasks
- Working proficiently with QuickBooks and Sage 300
- Handling other responsibilities as required to support the accounting department
- Possession of at least 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
- Demonstrable skill in performing Bank Reconciliations.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
- Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems.
- Experience in Account Reconciliation.
- Ability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
