Paralegal

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in the Mass Tort industry, based in Alton, Illinois. As a Paralegal, you will be a key player in handling our firm's mass tort litigation cases, managing case workflow, and providing comprehensive support to our attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage case workflow within our electronic case management system
• Draft and prepare lawsuit initiating pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, trials, meetings, and conference calls with attorneys
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather relevant case information and provide timely updates
• Review cases for attorney review and filing, ensuring all documents are served in a timely manner
• File cases in both state and federal courts, adhering to all court orders
• Keep track of and meet all deadlines for statutes of limitations and other case-related matters
• Prepare and submit Plaintiff Fact Sheets and/or Plaintiff Profile Forms
• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys and senior paralegals
• Document all events and communications accurately and consistently within the case management system
• Occasionally attend in-person meetings at the courthouse for case-related matters. • Proficient in the use of Case Management Software
• Experience with Calendar Management
• Strong Communication skills
• Knowledge of Mass Tort
• Experienced in Litigation ParaLegal duties
• Familiarity with ParaLegals' responsibilities and tasks
• Ability to Schedule Depositions efficiently
• Proficient in e-Filing procedures
• Demonstrable experience with Court Filing
• Understanding of Multi-District Litigation
• Experience with Calendar - Docket management
• Skilled in Calendaring practices and principles
