Army Software Electrical Engineer
The Robotic Controller Integrator will ensure the HMIF common controller aligns with stakeholder requirements and has a smooth transition plan to onramp to a Program of Record office post prototype development.
The Robotic Controller Integrator is responsible for:
- Successful Integration of HMIF Common Controller.
- Leading Controller Integration
- Work/interface with and support DOTmLPF stakeholders across the HMI enterprise.
- HMIF Common Controller interface requirements development, design, transition plan stakeholder coordination.
- Advising, coordinating, scheduling, and remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration.
- Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
- Participates in the development and execution of test strategies.
- Ascertains HMIF Common Controller Technology readiness Level.
- Participates in Common Controller budgetary discussions.

Requirements
Required Skills:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field of study
- Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to develop test plans and lead testing execution of HMIF Common Controller at system level as part of the HMIF systems of systems
- Application of DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans, and Performance Based Specifications
Required Experience:
- 10 plus years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across both hardware and software systems. Fewer years of experience will be considered based on complexity and success of the experience.
- Requirements development and decomposition

- Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software.
- Engineering Integration of systems of systems, system and sub system level
- ICD and IOP development
- Testing Experience
- Experience in the skills and responsibility areas described above
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes
- Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders
