Material Handler

Overview:

This position is located in Tustin, CA.

Step into a dynamic role as a Material Handler at our innovative industrial vending machine company, where your attention to detail keeps our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied.

This role will be under the direction of the Inventory Manager and in accordance with the job specific requirements and standard operating procedures, concentrating efforts on physical stocking, inventory counts, receiving, and packaging for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
• Identify and labels materials. Document material location in the warehouse and on shelves to maintain inventory.
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, pulling, packing, and loading them.
• Receive and check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.
• Conduct monthly inventories of materials and finished goods.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Production or warehouse experience (one year preferred)
• Moderate lifting, up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to adapt to change and open to supporting other departments.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to use the woodshop to build crates
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
• Ability to read BOL and schedule shipments
• Basic computer knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift certified required

• Epicor knowledge is a plus
