Job Description:
The Manager (Business Analyst) at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will lead the effort to develop and document business requirements, business process flows, supplement specification, and resolve requirement issues for large-scale, cross-divisional complex projects related to our proprietary workflow application, EXLMINE a robust payment integrity system that supports both pre-payment and post-payment modalities and help the client identify, manage and act on potential improper claims payments.
Lead and document discovery sessions with business owners and subject matter experts to design and develop standard workflows in EXLMINE application adhering to EXL Standards. Design and maintain letter templates for all correspondence in the EXLMINE application software.Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture and define business requirements to identify and solve immediate challenges. Partner with various business units and clients to identify and validate new opportunities by collecting and validating critical data for analysis.
Perform triage, testing, and root cause analysis to validate proposals using pertinent data and facts. Review system fields and provide field-level data mapping to the Reporting Hub (Enterprise Data Warehouse) for operational reporting. Review, understand, and document current operational processes and data sources to establish support for current and future reporting requirements.
Coach and mentor other Business Analysts on the team. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
Job Requirements:
Requires Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Technology, engineering or a related field plus One (1) years of experience in Software Developer or a related occupation. Requires One (1) year of professional experience with data analytics : Must have One (1) year of experience with each of the following : 1) SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for field level data mapping to support operational reporting; (2) Executing SQL queries to extract and analyze reporting metrics; (3) Agile methodologies; (4) Software Development Lifecycle methodologies; (5) Enterprise Data Warehouse operational support; (6) Developing and translating business needs into Functional Specifications Document and Business Requirements Document using wireframes and user manuals; (7) Debugging issues reported during User Acceptance Testing using solutions based on Root Cause Analysis.
Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree plus Three (3) years of experience in Technology, engineering or a related field in lieu of a Masters degree plus one (1) year of experience in the Technology, engineering or a related field. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $124,000 to $126,000/year.
