2025 Buyer Summer Intern

We are seeking to fill a 2025 Buyer Summer Intern position located in our Clarksburg, MD Campus. This position reports to the Manager of Procurement.
Please Note: The incumbent must be prepared to start in Clarksburg, MD in Summer 2025.
Responsibilities:
- General support to the Procurement Manager.
- Assists in preparation of past-due delivery reports, and contacts suppliers for updated status.
- Assists with the expediting of on-order material in support of production.
- Interacts with Accounts Payable to assist with supplier invoicing issues.
- Interacts with the Receiving Department to assist with material receipt issues.

- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college and have completed at least 2 semesters within Business or Supply Chain field.
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently.
- A self-motivated work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor in order to interact with a variety of positions and levels within Thales as well as visitors.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet demands.
- Must be proficient in English both verbal and written.
- Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
