Med Quest Associates, a trusted partner of Novant Health Systems, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our innovative team. This role will be based on-site at the Novant Health Breast Center (Winston-Salem).

Responsibilities:The Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining data integrity for patient’s mammography encounters and risks analysis per standard guidelines. This includes monitoring and working Dimensions Work Queues pertaining to mammography tracking and risk analysis.

Process:

• Monitor work ques based on daily assignment.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Collaboration:

• Partner with other departments on any continuation of patient care.
• Act as access administrator and department security liaison.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate trends or issues in a professional manner.
• Responsible for reviewing customer service request within 48 hours to facilitate patient satisfaction.
• Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, customer service skills, ability to interpret and communicate information to identify and meet customer’s needs, critical thinking skills, time management, office equipment, computers and software knowledge.
• Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving.
• Values team engagement and satisfaction. Actively communicates and engages team members to improve systems/processes and ensures coordination of workflow.

Compliance:

• Complies with established departmental policies for attendance, punctuality, procedures and safety.
• Complies with organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance at educational and department meetings, attends all mandatory education sessions and takes advantage of continuing professional education opportunities.
• Maintain appropriate records, note information appropriately and accurately.
• Aware of and follow HIPPA guidelines.
• Work patient records in compliance with all governmental requirements and guidelines for billing.

Qualifications:Qualifications:

• High School diploma required.
• 2 year associate's degree preferred degree in business, health-related or equivalent field.

• Must be able to analyze data and report findings in a constructive and solution- oriented manner.
• Prioritize workload and shift responsibilities as priorities change.
• Must be able to work independently, present problems with solutions and consistently able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with personal computers and office equipment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications
• Good oral communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and who possesses the ability to self-motivate.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Able to work independently, maintain department and patient confidentiality, interact with all cultures and level of authority.
