Payroll Specialist

Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and submitting certified payroll reports, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws, and using LCPtracker to keep payroll data up to date for public works projects. The ideal candidate will have strong certified payroll experience within the construction industry, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of payroll data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public works projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Utilize LCPtracker to manage payroll records, submit reports, and track employee certifications.
- Audit payroll data for accuracy, including wage rates, job classifications, and hours worked.
- Ensure compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and prevailing wage laws.
- Work closely with internal payroll and project teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with payroll reports.
- Maintain and organize payroll records for audits and reporting purposes.
2+ years of certified payroll experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency with LCPtracker is required.
Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, including the Davis-Bacon Act.
Excellent data entry, auditing, and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work on-site in Spring Valley and begin immediately.
