Account Receivables Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the billing and collection process, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely receipt of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and billing statements accurately and efficiently.
  • Record payments received and apply them to customer accounts.
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of aging reports and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely collections.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is an advantage.
