We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join us as an equity co-founder at Launch Legends, a pioneering venture that merges Web3 blockchain technology with the burgeoning creator industry. This role places you at the heart of the convergence between Web3 and the creator economy through our innovative Autheo Layer-1 blockchain platform with an integrated social platform and the first affinity network WFO (building on Autheo), an extreme sports creator network built on Autheo.

Future Compensation Plans
While this is initially an equity and token-only role, our comprehensive tokenomics plan includes compensation after the successful public token sale anticipated in January, where we plan to introduce salaries for both full-time and part-time positions.
About the Organization
Launch Lends has been under development for over 3.5 years. We are gearing up to launch:
- Autheo: Our Layer-1 blockchain with an integrated disruptive social platform for creators to own, expand, and monetize their networks.
- WFO: Extreme Sports Affinity Network "Built on Autheo" to showcase the power of Autheo for affinity network ecosystem launch and growth.
- Autheo Blockchain Devnet (THEO token) went live November 11, 2024. Incentivised testnet, together with Node Sale and Mainnet Launch scheduled for December with Public Token Sale in late December or January.
These initiatives are set to transform the creator industry, projected to reach $500 billion by 2027, and the extreme sports market, an exciting sports sector with over 400 million active partipants worldwide.
POSITION TITLE: BOOKKEEPERLocation: Remote
Launch Legends is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations and provide critical support for the company’s accounting and record-keeping functions. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and optimizing processes for a dynamic organization at the forefront of Web3 innovation.The Bookkeeper will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial workflows, reporting accuracy, and support for budgeting and planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Financial Management
- Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, crypto wallets, and financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting best practices.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Track and categorize expenses to support budgeting and financial planning.
- Budget Support and Cost Optimization
- Support the development of budgets by providing accurate financial data and tracking performance against forecasts.
- Analyze expenditures to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Web3 Financial Processes
- Track and record crypto transactions, including token movements, staking rewards, validator incentives, and airdrop distributions.
- Ensure all blockchain-related financial activities are accurately reflected in financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance and ecosystem teams to integrate blockchain-specific financial workflows seamlessly.
- Compliance and Internal Controls
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations, including tax reporting and audit requirements.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Stay informed about blockchain-specific compliance requirements, such as AML/KYC regulations and crypto tax obligations.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage accurate records and reconcile financial accounts.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Understanding of crypto transactions, wallets, and financial processes (training provided if limited experience).
- Experience managing crypto or blockchain-related financial transactions.
- Familiarity with tax compliance for blockchain and crypto assets.
- Exposure to working in startups, dynamic organizations, or technology-driven environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Professional certification such as a Certified Bookkeeper (CB), or willingness to pursue certification, is a plus.
