Description:
Akima Data Management (ADM), an Akima company, is seeking a Management Analyst II (MA-II) to provide visa and passport personnel administrative support to the Department of State, located in Quantico, VA. This position is to be located within DS/IP/OPO.The MA-II will be assigned to provide support to the Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard (MCESG) Program. Daily Driving into Washington DC is required. Responsibilities:
- The MA has knowledge of management systems techniques, processes and technology that will optimize program operations and will perform a variety of program tasks to support the Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard (MCESG) Program.
- The MA analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Analyzes administrative processes and/or office programs
- The MA writes reports, letters, and other documents with recommendations for management programs, policies, and activities. Assists with the development of new or revised management systems or procedures to facilitate the operation of programs within established guidelines
- MA performs administrative and financial analysis and provides research, spreadsheet development, data collection, and analysis
- MA provides day-to-day support in diverse program activities and projects of support staff
- The MA provide service for customer support. Provides overall management support and oversight. Develops and tracks key metrics for program success
- The MA provided logistical and courier support for VISA processing at embassy locations
- Ability to deliver documents without risk of loss, with a track-record of meeting the required standard, over 99.99% of the time. Accepts applications, after reviewing them for completeness and validity, based on checklists supplied by the diplomatic missions
Qualifications:
- Experience with database software; Proficient with Microsoft Work, Basic Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient written and oral communications skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, possibly under pressure situations
- Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Knowledge of VISA & passport application processing services as an end-to-end solution, which includes information collection, information dissemination, application processing for a valid Passport and VISA
- Possess and maintain a current and valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Secret Clearance required
