Drs. Gregory and Isabell Oxford of Matanzas Dental Group (Formerly Oxford Dental Associates) in St. Augustine, FL, are looking for a Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our practice. This position offers highly competitive salary and with a commitment to full time includes

We are a multidisciplinary practice with five providers including a Periodontist, two General Dentists, and two Hygienists.

As a valued member of the team, the Dental Hygienist (RDH) will have flexibility to work as little as one (1) day or as many as five (5) days per week

Expected hours are 7:45am - 5pm with scheduled lunch from 12pm- 1pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Screening patients during check-ups
  • Reviewing patient's history
  • Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
  • Documents area of existing restorations
  • Use of X-ray
  • Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
  • Conduct screenings
  • Assist patients with oral hygiene

Qualifications:

  • Completed US Dental Hygine Program
  • Active Florida Hygienist license
  • Current BLS/CPR certifications
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
