As a Civil Project Manager, you’ll oversee diverse, multi-faceted engineering projects from concept to completion, collaborating with a national team of over 100 offices. You will lead projects involving roadway and stormwater design, streetscapes, and infrastructure improvements, navigating complex design challenges and innovative solutions to enhance communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead transportation projects across highways, roads, and urban streetscapes, managing design, QA/QC, and construction administration.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor engineering teams, providing direction and assisting in staff development to ensure project quality and success.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and partners, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Technical Design: Oversee the development of technical designs, specifications, and project documentation, including grading, drainage, and utility planning.
- Pre-Design & Financial Planning: Handle project planning, financial management, and resource allocation, focusing on successful project execution.
- BS in Civil Engineering required.
- Minimum of 7 years of highway/roadway design experience, with at least 3 years of experience managing design projects.
- Current PE in New York State or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain a New York PE license within six months.
