Certified Bone Density Technologist

Responsibilities:
In this role, the Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist will represent the Imaging Services Department professionally and courteously while performing a range of duties, including office and clerical support related to mammography and DXA studies.You will also be trained to perform EKG exams and will conduct these exams two days per week.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, with shifts varying between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The position is based in Quincy, IL.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be capable of efficiently handling a variety of office tasks related to mammography, DXA studies, and EKG exams. The ability to work with accuracy and professionalism is essential.
A graduate from a Medical Assistant program, with certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), is required. Bone Densitometry Technologist Certification through the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) must be obtained within one year of hire.CPR certification is required and will be available upon hire.
