HR Manager
Position Overview:Our client is a Not-for-profit, located in DC that's looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing and implementing various HR functions to support our employees and organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
-Recruitment and Onboarding:-Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.-Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.-Employee Relations:-Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.-Implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a healthy workplace culture.-Performance Management:-Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.-Work with department heads to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.-Benefits and Compensation:-Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.-Ensure competitive compensation structures and conduct salary reviews as needed.-Training and Development:-Identify training and development needs and coordinate training initiatives.-Support employee growth and skill development.-HR Compliance:-Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.-Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).-Proven experience in HR management, with 5 years of relevant experience.-Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.-Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Target salary range $75k-$85k
