Senior Mechanical Engineer (Wisconsin)

Our client, a distinguished leader in the industrial oven manufacturing sector with over four decades of expertise, is actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their operations in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Renowned for their innovative approach in designing and engineering a wide range of heating equipment, their products, including both standard and custom-built industrial ovens, are integral to various applications such as heat treating, finishing, drying, and curing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing industrial ovens and systems that align with engineering norms, relevant codes, and client needs, while considering budget limitations.
• Analyzing client requirements and sales contracts to inform design decisions.
• Collaborating with clients and suppliers on equipment design details.
• Ensuring designs comply with regulatory standards and internal criteria for quality and manufacturability.
• Maintaining and updating design layouts in digital systems.
• Innovating on standard product designs to enhance quality and efficiency, and to cut costs.
• Selecting and evaluating components and parts for product assembly.
• Handling initial order processes.
• Building collaborative relationships with the Electrical Engineering team and other departments to solve problems and address issues.
• Serving as a technical consultant for sales teams, service technicians, Quality Assurance staff, and customer support.
• Joining multidisciplinary teams to solve manufacturing, design, and quality challenges, promoting ongoing process and method improvements.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and new components or techniques to enhance product designs.
• Occasionally visiting client sites as needed.
• Adhering to all organizational cleanliness, quality, and safety guidelines.
• Undertaking and completing special projects as assigned.
