Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the Sales Support Specialists team, monitoring performance.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members to maintain high levels of service across the team.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Be actively involved, informed, and supportive of team members, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
- Hold Sales Support Specialists accountable by enforcing standard processes and techniques for maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring Sales Support Specialists, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Prepare necessary correspondence, including pricing, customer quotes, introduction letters, inventory stocking requests, and supplier change notifications as requested by Regional Sales Managers.
- Assist with customer bids by gathering supplier pricing information, freight rates, and entering data on customer bid sites.
- Respond to customer requests for product information, availability, alternate sources, and general product inquiries as directed by Regional Sales Managers.
- Handle sample requests and provide timely follow-up for expeditious service. Assist Regional Sales Managers in sourcing information from systems such as Sage X3 and Salesforce, as well as external suppliers, including pricing, availability, and documentation for business development.
