We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a contract-to-hire position. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within the company. Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and slight general ledger (GL) experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Accruals Management: Accurately enter accruals into the system using NetSuite.
Vendor Relations: Handle phone calls with vendors and practices to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts payable transactions.
GL Experience: Assist in general ledger activities as needed.
Reconciliation: Reconcile payable accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure all payments are processed in accordance with company policies and healthcare industry regulations.
Basic understanding of general ledger accounting.
Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
