We are inviting applications for the role of Director of FP& A based in NEWTOWN area, Pennsylvania. This position plays a critical role in the Engineering industry, with a key focus on leading our financial planning and analysis efforts at a global level.
The role is pivotal in shaping our financial strategy, providing insights that drive business decisions, and ensuring robust financial management across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and management of the annual budget and monthly forecasts, aligning with corporate strategies.
- Develop and deliver insightful financial reports and analysis to executive leadership, with a focus on trends, variances, and key performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with functional leaders in Commercial, Operations, IT, and other areas to prepare financial analysis, provide financial insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop the global FP& A team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and professional growth.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial planning and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support M& A activities, capital investment analyses, and other strategic projects as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, implementing best practices in financial management.
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is required for this role.
- Expertise in Annual Budget and Budget Processes is essential.
- Experience in managing Business Units, including all financial aspects.
- Proficient in Capital Management, including capital budgeting and allocation.
- Demonstrable experience with MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong skills in Data Analytics for making informed business decisions.
- Experience in KPI Reporting, tracking performance against strategic goals.
- Knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) processes and financial implications.
- Advanced skills in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), including forecasting and variance analysis.
