South Lake Hospital provides full spectrum emergency care, 24/7, to all individuals including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. In compliance with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Laborregulation (EMTALA),each individual will be triaged, medically screened and provided appropriate care by a physician or advancedcare professional.The South Lake Hospital ED is supported by both air and ground transport.

Qualifications:
Education/Training- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Graduate
degree in Business or health-related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- May require one or more of the following certifications based on the assigned patient population:
o Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
o Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS)
o Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
ExperienceTwo (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU/Critical Care setting.
